Unique in its complexity and history, Luneta's ensamble of 4 agaves permeates suede leather, carmelized pecans and apricot. Crafted by master distiller Don Chinto in Tepenene, Puebla, this 4 agave varietal is roasted with eucalyptus in an underground earthen oven, fermented twice in bull hide vats and hand milled with wooden mallets. Chinto uses a copper still for the first distillation. In the second distillation he deploys a stainless steel pot and a hollowed out coral tree trunk for as the neck of the still. Only 110 liters were produced.

  • We visit and build personal relationships with all mezcaleros we purchase from. The producers we collaborate with belong to  families that have been crafting traditional agave spirits for at least three generations.  They utilize stills with a capacity of 250 liter or less. No two batches are ever the same.
